Unbrick Mini m8s Pro

I'm looking for a little help unbricking a mini m8s pro. I tried updating the firmware via usb burning tool. After the first try failed, I unchecked erase bootloader, and tried applying the update again. The second attempt failed, and completely bricked the device (no booting into recovery, no hdmi output, not detected by pc when attempting to boot into recovery). I have tried the sd card update method both while pressing the button on power on and not. Nothing seems to work.

Help with MXQ

Hello gang, I have 2 MXQ S805 one I have it with root and dual boot external SD, the problem with this one is I installed the Kodi Krypton for Android 4.4.2 I also tried SPMC and the problem is the same I can use any addon and at any time of the movie, TV Series it stops and goes back to Android Home page and with Krypton it does the same but back to Kodi Home page........... I tried to upgrade to Android 5 but after I get the success warning the box just keeps rebooting back to recovery mode, since I used TWRP I re install the factory ROM and start from scratch with Android 4.4.2 and the problem of going back to home page after almost have the movie, now with dual boot external SD card it works flawlessly...........I will really like to have the external boot make it permanently without the need of external SD card if the Android problem cannot be fixed............. But first I will like to upgrade to Android 5 if there is another way to try it........let me upload photos of the board of the MXQ I got, both are the same and none say ENY

MXQ Pro 4k updating issues

Ok, to make a long story short, I have a few issues with 3 of my mxq pro 4k boxes. They are the s905x boards with the s905w chip/p281 bootloader. I was toying around with different roms, such as poison rom and atvxperience rom, and now my boxes wont boot nor update.

I was able to flash the factory rom (from the supplier) on one box via sd card method and its back to stock and fuctional.

The other two are a different story, when I go to update via SD card method, the file loads and the green bar starts to creep across the screen (id say approx 10%) then it reboots automatically and tries to update again. This continues, so im stuck in an updating/rebooting loop....

Now ive tried usb burning tool as well...usual processes and attempts. Few diff ports, 2 diff pc's, few different versions of the burning tool. All with an error at 7%, seems like more than the NAND has been erased. I also shorted pins on one box with no change to results.

Im at a loss here...Not sure where to go from here to at least get these last two units working, then back to attempting custom rom installs...

Any help would be awesome!

Best Android settop box or gaming device for 'phone farming'

I'm looking for examples of inexpensive rootable (stable) high Android version (Lollipop or higher) Android TV boxes that I can power over USB (potentially via a USB to 5v adapter, since I cannot find a TV box that is reasonably priced running Android that can be powered over microUSB input the way my Roku does). Ethernet input is desirable. I need root access so that I can access them remotely using VMLite VNC Server. I don't want to purchase a bunch of random TV boxes only to find out that I can't root them. I'm trying to run 'phone farming' applications such as YooLotto, YooTV, YooRewards, etc. These types of apps generally perform best on devices with at least 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM, so I'm seeking something with those specs or higher.

Tanix TX3 Dead on arrival

I recently purchased the Tanix TX3 mini from Gearbest. When it arrived i pluged it i to my TV and tried to power it up. The box did nothing , no front display and TV said No Signal. There is a LED coming from the optical port. I went and bought a USB Male to Male lead as well as a 16gb microSD in an effort to recover the unit.
I first tried pushing the reset button in and holdingit while powering up ghe box to no avail.
I then downloaded the USB Burning Tool and got the firmware from the Tanix website. But Windows doesnt recognise the box being connected no matter what port i plug the cable into.
The power on the remote doesn't chane the situation either.
i was going to try and make a boot SD card but could not find a zip file with the uboot.ini file.
I've contacted Gearbest, but so far it looks like my box has arrived bricked.
Any help would be kindly appreciated .

After so many different attempts to correct odd video behavior with some video streaming apps, FX Now ATV version, and BBC iPlayer phone app both play audio with green blanked out screen. I thought it was DRM related, as I have pasted in system files from stock phone based firmware on modded ATV 64 bit firmware to mix hardware driver support and other tweaks.

After weeding my multiple build.prop files for various changes and reversions to test without needing to rely on an editor if boot or operation issues. I found one option that made the problem difficult to correct when the issues came about after updating apps.

even though my box has CVBS output, which is never used, I disabled it just for fun, and found that the green screen blanked out video is no longer. It may correct other issues with Kodi or what ever that runs as a shell over your box system.

Now the only issues I have with ATV is STV having FC during startup, and ti backup missing right hand section to top action bar. So every app must be done manually one at a time, to back up or restore.

UG802 HTC-T002-V1 Cannot understand how to reflash it no Reset Hole i Can find

I have the rk3066 android tv stick i cannot reflash it it's stuck on boot animation, stripped it down there is no reset button on it, just a plate where it should be like a gold strip, with a tiny hole in it nothing small enough to put in the hole here, wondering if it is indeed a rest hole to access via usb cable or not? I can get to recovery broken robot logo but home button and any other keyboard press or mouse press works just can't figure this one out any ideas how to restore it guys please?

Hello guys. I'm looking this so far.
I receive some of these tv boxes and i need to re-flash them.
This is something like clones or counterfeit, don't know. No contact with supplier to ask. You are my last hope)
This is tvbox has standard mark "MXQ PRO 4k" On PCB maked H234_V3.0_171115 (google says nothing about this)
Inside installed s905x chip (i remove heat sink and see) and combined RAM&FLASH chip "24C0475-002.A000 293728.01" from taiwan (can't found datasheet)
Wi-fi chip sv6051 (but i don't mind, i always use cable)
Inside installed Android 7.1.2
Kernel 3.14.29 ren@gxt #23

Hi, I'm looking to root my 2g/16g a95x pro Amlogic S905W. I need the root firmware for my box. i've searched all over and i can't seem to find what i'm looking for. i need someone to point me in the right direction. i'm looking for root firmware and any guide or tutorials. i'll be using the usb burning tool method. i've rooted several devices but never a tv box but i should have no problem getting it figured out
