Love the i7 and i11... except for this...

The Cube T9 I own is just about perfect. I have it in a Slim Case with the magnetic cover. Even if I pull it from the case; I do not worry about it getting scratched all up just from general use. The light golf ball picked back is plastic, and does not scratched that easily.
The i7 and i11, with the metal backs... are prone to being scratched up, and they are designed to be used with the keyboard.. so it is not like you can put it in a case for protection.
So... I want one of these new models from Cube with the integrated keyboard, but have stopped short because of the back.
Come on, Cube! You can do better! 😊

Hi

It would be nice if someone can explain the new international Lithium-Ion battery shipping laws that went into effect on 1 Jan 2016 and 1 March 2016.
Most Chinese companies can't ship any product with Lithium-Ion batteries by airmail anymore.
The only way is now with an expensive courier service.

Does it effect shipping to your country?
How do you still ship cheaply now?
What about people that use services like shipitto or shopandship that are forwarding companies and give you 20+ local addresses all over the world.
Most of those forwarding companies don't warn users and when any item like phones, tablets, flash lights, power banks, tv boxes arrive at their address they confiscate the items or demand to send them back to the seller and you have to pay the return fees.

Are all the companies that advertise on freaktab aware of the new lithium- battery laws?
What do these companies do if there are problems shipping batteries to users?
Do they know what shipping companies to use and how to fill in the new paperwork?

Hi everyone, i'm new to android tv, so i like to ask some question before i messup. I have a Beelink r68g (gigalan version).
1) Can i assume that is the same hardware as tronsmart r68g? and therefore the firmware/images/roms are interchangeable?
2) Can i aplly the same with other model grtom other vendors?
3) I was playing the other day my first video, and from time to time i have moment where the screen goes black (one second). This happend or i have a problem with my device?
4) After reading some post i see that there are some roms there, is someone mostly acclaimed? for now on i just whan to use kodi with 5.1 dts.
5) For flashing the roms can i use tronsmart tools, i do not have anyone from beelink and i dont see any link in their page.
Weel this is for now, i have more question, but later.

ps: i was playing whit the file of the remote commands, na di lost the original, the files is in /system/usr/keylayout/ff680030_pwm.kl if someone can send me a copy i will apreciate.

Killed my m8s box flashing openelec

So got fed up with the crappy android just to boot kod,i now has a red light no signal. Tried the SD card maker with random uboots. No joy. My question is, I've made a backup with twrp backup of the stock ROM. Can I make the uboot from that backup? Would of tried renaming but the twrp backup has a significantly larger file size.. Maybe some Linux tool to cut the uboot out?

Amlogic remote POWER ON scancode hardcoded somewhere in the kernel? (EDIT: actually it's in the bootloader)

Hello, I have an amlogic S805 box, but I guess all amlogic boes have the same remote scancdes. I tryed to use some random IR remote, I edited the remote.conf with apropriate scancode and apropriate factory code.All is working. I can navigate/play/pause even POWER OFF the device.

But the problem comes when tyring to POWER ON the device. Only the stock remote works. I guess the remote daemon which is running and handles the remote.conf is not working while the box in in sleep mode and the POWER ON scancode is somehwere hardcoded in the kernel. It will be very bad if it's hardcoded in the IR transmitter itself. Anyone was searching for this? Any clues? But even if it's in the kernel, where do I get the s805 kernel sources to recompile? If it matter the box is Minix Neo X6.

Dead, only stays on when I pressed the power button

Hi All,

After flashing a rom on windows 10 I got a dead CS918 It gives no display and no light either.
When I press the power button it's found by RKBatchtool for a couple of seconds and goes off. It works only when I hold the power button down but when I want to flash it, it gives an error IDB Failed.
Somebody knows what to do? I tried a different adapter, short-circuit method but no succees.
