NO Sound on MBox ( Gostreamer T8X)

I have an MBox ( Formerly Gostreamer T8X), this is running S905 Quad Core. Android 5.1.1.This device has been working fine for a couple of years, all of a sudden NO Sound. I have tried all the various fixes, but nothing happens to change the situation. I cannot update the firmware using OTA, this has been disabled by Gostreamer ceasing to trade. The Android menu does say that there is an upgrade pending. Any advice on what I can do. I don't use Kodi, but have the IPlayer, All4, My5, running direct plus USB files for Moviews.

Tanix TX3 Mini fails to boot after firmware update

I've got a Tanix TX3 Mini which I've applied a firmware update to (go it from Tanix download link - TX3Mini-ota-20171220-Tanix_Box_Com.zip

It rebooted said system update, went through a progress bar to the end, rebooted and now won't get past the TX Mini screen whenever I try to boot it.

I've tried to follow the firmware burning instructions with the USB cable and software but I think the USB cable I have is not working (bought from Officeworks).

I've managed to boot it into the restore screen using a pin in the tiny hole underneath and have a boot menu now but I'm not sure if I should be using this menu at all and if so which option to use?

If I choose Wipe data/factory reset will that resolve it or have I got a crappy firmware on there and need to reflash?

Having a nightmare so really appreciate any input!

ATV for H96 Pro+ V3 DDR4

i have two h96 pro plus a green PCB that works with ATV 6.01 because the ATV 7.1.2 is not stable on this box and it heats up the CPU. I just bought a second CZ 3g + 32g + 9377 Job 20170407 S32-V3 (DDR4) and I would like to know which ATV Rom works with this version. The only one I found is the ROM of the ultimate GT1 but the original remote does not work with. The h96 PCB Blue Superceleron ROM does not work L installation with USB tool does not go to the end and crashes at 8%. Is there a ROM ATV for this specific version v3 DDR4
How to operate the original remote control with the ultimate GT1 ROM
It's okay my remote is working. I found the file I needed. I am missing 3 commands, the ignition when it is off, access to multitasking and close all open applications. And I will have the same thing as the Green PCB h96 under ATV 6.01. Do you have any ideas to solve this

X96W (S905W) mkv problem

A few weeks ago I received two X96w boxes. One with Bluetooth and one without. I upgraded an OUYA and an Minix Neo 7. On first sight the boxes seem ok but when I started to play MKV files the problems began. During the play of a movie a get may times little flickering scares most of the time areas with the same color (for example in a black night sky etc). I tried the KDplayer, Kodi 17.6, VLC player, MX player. Had the movies on usbstick and trough the network (I keep them on a diy nas). When I try them on the minix or OUYA box everything runs great so the problem are not my files. When I check cpu use in Kodi while playing a movie it is very high on all cores (90-95%). in Kodi hardware decoding is on. I start to think that there is something wrong with the software or drivers.

I've tried multiple files on both X96's and the minix and OUYA

I also found that playing dvd files (VIDEO_TS) in Kodi the movie is stuttering, but chancing the Deinterlace setting works ok. VLC has no problems with DVD files. I am not sure if it is the same problem.

Anybody any suggestions?

Wow!

Alfawise CZ-S3-v2.2 my original box.

Since SCV4 - SCV7a This box failed to consistently play Youtube(black screen w/ audio) and WebGL(green screen).

Serveral other roms were tried but nothing come close to the success of SCV1..(It had/has some bugs).

1. Playstore has to be force-closed to restart. 2. Slight GUI glitches. 3. Darkness bug. 4. ???

Several days of Youtube and browser(WebGL) videos offer consistent viewing experience.

(Sooo nice to be able to turn off blue console light!)

SPMC v 17.6 (Media codec: on) Better source or imagination but...amazing 1080p picture.

I believe there is no TWRP version for this kernel? Prove me wrong...please!
