I'm trying to do is batch install some APK files.

I'm not sure why ADB debugging over USB won't recognized device but usb burning tool sees my device. USB debugging is enabled.

- I've tried copying the files over to /data/local/tmp/ and running "pm install file.apk" . Which does work but when i try running it from a script the installs don't start.

Rambus Confirms HBM3 Memory To Double Memory Bandwidth To 4Gbps

Rambus Confirms HBM3 Memory To Double Memory Bandwidth To 4Gbps

Rambus has stepped up and revealed some preliminary specifications for the DDR5 and HBM3 memory standards. HBM3 is the successor to HBM2 memory with DDR5 being the successor to DDR4, as if the names didn’t give that fact away. These specs are still in their early stages and could change ahead of the official launch of memory using those specifications.

Even though the specifications are being given out right now, it may a while before products using the specs will land. AMD will continue with HBM2 for GPUs and NVIDIA has no immediate plans to make any shifts. On to the specs, HBM3 will offer twice the performance that is coming from current HBM2 specification.

The move to DDR5 will get somewhere in the range of 1.5x to 2x the performance improvement compared to DDR4. HBM3 will have a transfer rate of 4Gbps/s meaning somewhere around 512GB/s to 1 TB/s final bandwidth per package.

For DDR5 transfer speeds are cited at 4.8 Gbps to 6.4 Gbps. Both of the new standards will be built using a 7nm process helping with power efficiency an increased economy of scale.

Rambus is viewed as a patent troll by some and counts among its licensees Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron along with Qualcomm and NVIDIA. Other licensees include AMD, Intel, and IBM. Way back in 2012, Rambus saw one of the patents invalidated that it was using to try and force NVIDIA into a patent agreement. NVIDIA did, however, eventually license Rambus technology.

H96 Pro Plus and game controller

Hi,

I have the H96 Pro Plus and connected a PS3 compatible game controller for some retry gaming activities.
The controller is recognized, and in the N64 emulator I can assign the controller buttons to the proper controller actions.

But there are three of the buttons that trigger global OS activities:
triangle: opens the OS settings menu
circle: toggles on/off switches in the OS settings menu
cross: opens the browser
these three buttons I cannot assign in N64 emulator, and if I press them in a game, the emulator is interrupted and the OS takes over to trigger the mentioned action.

is there a way to remove these global OS actions and make these buttons usable for the emulator?

Thanks.

Clone working box to bricked one?

I have a totally bricked mxq pro 4k it's a fake r329q (rk3229) with false boot logo s905x.

I have tried about 40 different roms but either it's stop because loader version 2.31 (Only 2.32 seem to works flash) it works to load the rom with android tool but wont start.

Best succes with v88 rom and mxq r9 rom. They start the box but stops after a while on android logo.

I found a rom on chinagadget that says mxq pro s905x-logo and it's 6.0.01 marsmallow and rk3229 but stops because loader 2.31 ver. I'm almost certain thats the factory rom for my box, but wont install with android tool.

I've tried all I can, hours of testing and now I'm lost. I have an exactly the same working box and wonder if there's a solution to do a full backup of that one and restore it to the bricked one. The bricked one dont contains any working rom.

Help identifying RK3229 TV Box

Hello, I've bought this box from AliExpress as one with S905X SoC, after spending a day trying to install LibreElec on it, I thought on opening it up. To my surprise (or not so much), I spotted a little sticker saying it is a rockchip device. So I was wondering if there is any rom upgrade for it, as I know there's no LibreElec version for rockchip. Here's some pictures of the board, and thank for any help you can provide.
Cheers!

Why are there no Snapdragon based Android boxes?

I don't understand why there are no android boxes available based on SnapDragon processors!!!
For instance, now old, SnapDragon 801 is still more powerful than the latest Amlogic S912, then why aren't manufacturers using those old SD processors which must be very cheap to get by now.

I have three dead Xperia Z1's. Wish I could use the processors somehow
