I made the mistake and installed my Xtreamer Whizz FW on my Xtreamer Wonder Pro and bricked it. All I get is a black screen. Is there a way to bring it back to life? it's a Quad Core Amlogic S812-H
(w/ Dolby+DTS) Cortex-A9
upto 2.0GHz-H with 8 Core Mali-450.

MXQ-4K i can't to enter to recovery menu ( toothpick method)

Hi,
I have a MXQ-4K and i try to do update from my pc to the box, i using the "toothpick method" and RKBatchTool-v1.8 but the process failed. Now i can't to enter to recovery menu and after reboot it show a green screen.

Please, I need your help for recovery my box.

Firmware: Sunwell T95U Pro - stock firmware for devices with LTM8830 WiFi chip

Hello all, I spent quite some time to dig this one out so I thought why not share it here.

I tried Superceleron's firmware and, while it worked great, I lost WiFi because my box has LTM8830 WiFi chip and that firmware is made for boxes with AP6330 chip. So in case wifi is important to you here's stock firmware that you can flash and have it working again.

T95UPRO-170309_LTM8830_T5UP0031.rar


Unfortunately I didn't check what firmware version was originally on my box. This one is T5UP0031, which seems "high" because I only saw 0005 or 0006 versions for boxes with AP6330.

Dear folks, I am facing big trouble connecting mentioned box to a screen using a hdmi-dvi cable. Seems like the hcdp copy protection is set to be always on....

Can someone help out and tell me pls how to make the entry "HCDP BEHAVOIR" visible in developer menu as this is missing at the moment.

I even would flash another firmware if possible to get rid of this crap as its annoying....or maybe someone can send PM on how to fix this issue?

Any help is appreciated.

Instreamer App Streams Zidoo X8/X9S/X10 HDMI Video Input to YouTube Live / RTMP Servers with FFmpeg (CNXSoft)

Zidoo X8, X9S and the upcoming X10, are TV boxes powered by Realtek RTD1295 processor with an HDMI input. The stock firmware already supports UDP broadcasting, but robbi5 decided he needed more, and designed Instreamer“HDMI IN Streamer” app leveraging work from Danman’s ZidoStream app for Mstar TV boxes and Zidoo’s own VideoAndHdmiIN app.



Instreamer app supports the following:
  • Streaming as MPEG-TS to network (unicast/multicast)
  • Streaming in FLV format to RTMPserver (e.g. Youtube)
  • No need for intermediate recording file – thus no length limit
  • Streaming runs in background
  • HDMI out is usable as pass-through
That looks good. Installation is easy.
  1. Download and install the latest Instreamer APK release
  2. Download and extract FFmpeg Android binaries to /mnt/sdcard
After launching the app, and adjusting settings within the app (not tested as I don’t have X9S anymore), you can now start a terminal, and stream HDMI input using MPEG-T + UDP:
1 ffmpeg -i - -codec:v copy -codec:a copy -bsf:v dump_extra -f mpegts udp://[IP]:1234
or to RTMP servers such as YouTube:
1 ffmpeg -i - -strict -2 -codec:v copy -codec:a aac -b:a 128k -f flv rtmp://a.rtmp.youtube.com/live2/[Stream name/key]

You’ll find the “Stream name/key” on YouTube Live Dashboard by clicking on Reveal button.


Since the source code is open source, you could also adapt to app to your need, and build it with Android Studio.

I have asked this question on several forums and sites and nobody out there has ever done this? I Have several tx95 and tx5 pro boxes i have a setup with a launcher, my kodi build, other apps, settings that fixed the keyboard and passthrough fix that i want to simply clone my setup to multiple boxes! People say use twrp but it fails to see the image of my original box i want to clone. Is there a way to simply ftp into the damn thing and copy the files over to each box?

Stuttering/choppy playback

Hey Guys

I know Mo has been replying, but dont want to keep bothering him, so hoping somebody can advise me

I upgraded to v1.8a for the HPH NT V6, but all my videos either Netflix, Youtube etc there are moments of lag, stuttering or just choppy playback.

Any advice on what i can do here? I tried v1.9, but the audio is broken for me, so downgraded to v1.8a.

Im guessing that i should have done a clean install? Should i hit erase flash 1st before upgrading or downgrading? What does erash flash actually do?

Hi all just joined the forum, Been spending couple of hours researching android boxes and cant seem to decide on what to buy.

Im looking for a box for mostly just for plex to watch at 720p/1080p i have a server with a Xeon e5450 and all my content is on that. I would like to stick Kodi on it to play about with, i have setup Kodi for loads of people in the past but not too interested in that ill be honest, will want a box for YouTube too and internet browsing nothing major but mostly just for plex. I was using a NowTv Box but since they decided to kill plex im looking for alternative for my Main Tv and i love android devices so thought id look at android box,i am thinking about a Firestick but new ones in uk are not out until April 6th and im impatient : P

Anyway i have had a look at few boxes which i have listed below, as i said been doing loads of research and been reading lots of posts on this forum and was looking at these boxes, (I will be connecting these up with WIFI) Was wondering if i could get some thoughts or other suggestions please ?

[Tutorial] Create your own bootup logo for Amlogic based android devices. (S912, etc)

It cost me days to find out how to create my own Full HD bootup logo, for my upcoming custom Yundoo Y1 S912 ATV rom.
Because the build in function of the Amlogic CustomizationTool (I used the latest one v2.0.8) didn't work properly.


Needed (free) Tools
  • Gimp (or any other image program that could create 16 bit bmp files)
  • 7Zip (or any other compression tool that could create gzip files)

The making of ....
  1. Create your own boot logo with the image resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD / RGB color) Click image for larger version Name: Bildschirmfoto vom 2017-03-26 05-45-11.png Views: 1 Size: 28.9 KB ID: 638105

  3. Compress the image with 7Zip and select gzip as file compression container.
    File input = bootup.bmp (size 3 - 8 mb)

  4. Rename the compressed bmp file: bootup.bmp.gz >> bootup
  5. Replace the bootup file at the folder ..\tmp\level2\logo_res\bootup
  6. Pack your rom with your own tiny custom bootup logo, that needs less than 1 sec. to load

After downloading an app, the box stopped working
status and new led light up, and all the other lights, so assume hardware ok
However, PC not detecting USB connection ( either host, nor otg)
Have not seen any firmware rom anywhere
Can anyone help please ?
