I got an M8S 812 ive been trying openelec on.If I load the openelec from amlinux.ru my wifi doesn't work so I couldn't use that one.i tried the openelec from justme roms and that one works fine except the lights are wrong when its on the light is red when its off the light is blue.what I'm curious of is there a way to fix the lights?

Resolution Problems on Vega S95 Pro
I got a problem with the Resolution of a Tronsmart S905 Pro. First everything works properly. I run 1080p a 60 Hz (a resolution my TV supports). I have to adjust the image size to 90% because the image is oversized on my TV. This works fine. So everything seems to be ok. But after a few minutes the homesreen image on my TV jumps to an oversize (ca. 130% my TV can display). A few mousemoves later it resizes again to the 90% i need. This happens randomly.
If i start Chrome or the built in webbrowser the image jumps to ioversize again after e few second. This does not dissapear like on the Homescreen. I have to close the Browser.
All this stuff never happens if i run KODI....
I already tried out different frequencies on 1080p but still the same problem. I run the latest Firmware. No change.
Is there anyone else expieriencing the same prob? Does anyone have an idea about it???

hi there,
i know now that i m one of the stupids persons on mars. me get into bios, and switched the usb ports vom EHCI to XHCI, then they stopped working. also i switched off the emmc. the device comes up to the insyde bootloader, then after a while "could not access emmc" on windows 10 or bootloop if android. put out the battery wouldnt clear the bios, so im not as good in solding, maybe someone knows the "cmos clear" bridge for this board?! (if there is one) ... now its only text startup with "press esc or f2 to enter setup", but my usb keyboard wouldnt be recognized ir-usb or direct-usb. also there is no recoveryswitch to come into bios again. i think there is one. but .....read the first sentence!

ADB change recovery partition?!
Hello. I'm new here and hope you can me to clear some questions about my TV Stick MK808B plus.
I have flashed a custom rom (superceleron 1.4b ) but when I was enter the recovery, the only I see was stripes.
After that I was downloading a avoidable recovery, I was flashing these but without success.
Now I can`t access my recovery it boot direct into android and have only with adb root access.
Now my questions:
Is it possible to change/over write the absolute not working recovery partition with my old recovery.img only with ADB root access again?
pros:
-adb has root
-all files there
cons:
-ADB Fastboot don`t recognice a fastboot device!
-I have tryed with flash_image binary (adb shell flash_image boot /sdcard/boot.img) but only: get error scanning partitions
-no root access from Apps like root explorer
and
-I have not enough knowlege and help

Hi Folks!
Well some seem to like the Remix OS and also wanted it rooted...
Well here you go.... The Telos Remix OS ROM tweaked by me Finless style![]( "Smile")
So any donations would be nice especially if you like this ROM!

WARNING! In order to debloat and clean up this ROM I have to format /data partition and thus you will loose all your data!
You have been warned! Please backup your stuff.
This ROM is for the S95 Telos only! Later I may port to the Meta and Pro.
This ROM is based off the S95 Telos Remix OS BETA ROM.
Install instructions:
This is a pretty easy install but please make sure you do exactly what I list here.
1) Download this ROM (finless_remixos_1.0_S95_telos.zip). DO NOT unzip it!
2) Copy the zip to a SDcard. Make sure it is a good SDcard and not corrupt. If your not sure, format it FAT32.
3) Make sure you do NOT have a recovery.img on SDcard that you used for something else. This ZIP is properly signed for the Tronsmart recovery in the box now.
4) Go into APPs and run the Update&Backup APP.
5) On the right side under "Local Update", click the select button.
6) It should open a list of ZIP files on your SDcard. Select finless_remixos_1.0_S95_telos.zip.
7) Now click the update button.
8) The system will reboot into Recovery but will not show any menus.
Also PLEASE NOTE: The stock ROM 20160109 had a bug with the boot logo. So your screen will be black for a while. PLEASE wait for recovery to come up!
If you wait longer than about 1 full minute, then something else is wrong. You might have to reflash a stock ROM.
9) The green Android man will show up and update the ROM. Do not do anything until it is finished!
10) The system will reboot on it's own and boot the new ROM.
Please note, this ROM takes longer to boot the first time than the stock ROM. The reason is it has be Deodex'ed. See below.

None- of the pre-install APPs are there either.
2) The ROM is Deodex'ed. I find that this makes the system faster.
First boot after flashing takes longer but after that... It is much faster at booting!
Watch how fast it boots up after reboots. Barely enough time to see the boot animation![]( "Smile")
Also having a deodex'ed ROM allows ROM tool APPS to be able to do things like theming etc.
3) I changed the default settings for:
Installing non-market Apps = true
Check with google about non-market Apps = False
So now if you want to install an APP from SDcard, etc you won't get bugged to change settings!
4) Did some small tweaking to buffers so you may see better Wifi performance.
5) This ROM is rooted fully and properly!
6) Added a reboot APP so you can actually reboot into recovery!
The stock Remix ROM had no way to allow you to boot into recovery to install new ROMs or updates!
Now you can... So if you want to flash back to Android you can use a SDcard method by using the reboot APP
and rebooting into recovery!
I will give you a TWRP recovery very soon too![]( "Smile")
7) Added init.d script support as I do in all my ROMs.
8) I added Xbox and Game controller KO modules. These should no be supported but I did not test it as I do not have a Xbox controller.
My game controller I have works.

MX 111. Wifi issues
Hope someone can help. Have MX111 2gb and wifi has suddenly slowed down only getting 3mb of speed. It's not the router. If I have done a root explorer and deleted wpa_supplicant.config file and restart box. It brings the speeds up to about 10 or 13 Mbps but after a while it goes back to being slow again. Any ideas how to resolve this problem or is there a way to disable wifi card and use a wifi dongle. I have another mx111 1gb and the speeds are fine on this. So appears to be a problem with wifi card! Any advice would be great. Thank you.

Bricked MXQ, Different board from every image/thread I can find.
Hi guys. Long story short: same shit, different board.
I bought an MXQ from Amazon (Canada)
I was having WiFi issues, lag etc. and decided to flash the firmware. As you can probably guess it was not the correct FW for my specific board (wow, there is a lot of boards for this device) so I bricked it and am now stuck at red light only.
Not able to enter recovery mode or get any response from unit other than a constant red light when powered up.
Windows/burning tool will not recognize the device. It's worth mentioning that I only have a mac so I am running WinXP Pro SP3 in a VM in order to use the program but that shouldn't cause any issues because it is configured to automatically pass any usb devices directly to the virtual machine when it has focus (tested with countless other USB devices with no issues). I have 2 versions of Amlogic USB_Burning tool installed, 2.0.2 & 2.0.4.3
I've tried every combination of holding the reset button/powering the device/connecting to OTG usb port possible several times with no success. From what I've read I've come to the conclusion that it is going to be necessary for me to short pins on my board in order to get Windows to recognize the device. The problem that I'm having is that I do not know which pins to short and I have not been able to find a single image or version number that matches the specific board in my box.

Everything works and is super responsive! But userdata partition is restricted to ~1GB.
Tried to edit the parameter flie but still reformats the partition layout on first boot. Any ideas on how to change this?
