Kodi support any good? Auto framerate switching etc?

I know that kodi support on Amlogic S905X android tv boxes is bad under android, the framerate switching doesn't work. Libreelec solves this problem. I was wondering whether these android 8.x RK3328 boxes play all videos perfectly under kodi in android or not. Which audio formats can it bitstream?

Hi Friends,

I got this MX10 pro TV box and it is running very fine. No issues till now I have been using this from past two and a half weeks.

I want to play basic games on it especially for my 5-year-old kid as it seems to be a very good and fast box. Lots of RAM and unused most of the times(only 30% max utilization I have seen till now).

When I connect my Xbox wireless controller to this box via Bluetooth it doesn't seem to be compatible with this box. Only a few keys are working and that too not enough to play the game.

Please suggest any good game controller for the android box.

Or

please let me know if there is a setting/configuration can be done to have XBox controller work properly with this box.

Any suggestion will be helpful and Thanks in advance.

Help! choose TVBox

Hello, i need some suggestions for a new tv box, i currently own the mx9 pro 2 +16 gb tv box, its a very good box when it comes to video playblack and streaming however the android system is half cooked for example it comes unrooted (i rooted myself), launcher cant be switched, kernel cant be customized, missing 3 dot menu in some apps and much more. The main reason i want a new box is because of lack for support and only 2gb ram.
I also have the 4gb variant of that box but i fkd it up by flashing a wrong firmware, they put a unknown wifichip (it6334) inside so im stuck.

What the box should have:

- launcher can be changed
- root
- navigation bar and statusbar
- ethernet lan
- usb 3.0
- otg
- micro sd slot

and foremost a stable firmware this means no micro stuttering in video playback (for example youtube) and no crashes/freezes

i have had these boxes before and i got pretty disappointed: Beelink GT1 ultimate , H96 Max (RK3399)


i had less problems with rockchip than amlogic


i appreciate every suggestion

Hi Everyone, and thanks in advance for your kind support.
I've an A95x tv box equipped with the amlogic s905 1gb+8gb. I recently bought an sd card 64gb to use as internal storage but i discovered that is impossible (as in android 6.0 or 7) to use this space to save applications etc. formatting the card as internal space (move apps to sdcard doesn't work) .
So i decided to update to tha latest version of android, but i can't find the right firmware for my box. Can you guys suggest an official or custom firmware based on android 6 o 7 or superior and where to download it?

Am i stuck on lollipop?

HELP WITH TV BOX RK3328!

I have this new model mx9 pro 4gb + 32gb rk3328 with it 6334 wifichip.

I tried to root the box and made a mistake somehow so i had to reflash it using a firmware with preroot.

now i noticed i dont have the correct firmware as the wifichip (IT6334) is totally unknown and all public firmwares only support either AP6255 or RTL wifichip.


However im not dumb, i made a backup of the partitions before i did anything.


The default system was not rooted and it was android 8.1.0 running, i now have the problem of reflashing the box using the parameter file in androidtool.


All i have is the firmware dump (8.1.0) and a update.zip that i got from gearbest support.


I dont know how to continue from this point.



i hope someone has better understanding of this.
