Mecool M8S Pro L, Kodi with external HDD doesn't work smoothly

Dear all,

After trying to run Kodi (both TV Center & Libreelec via SD Card), I switched back to my Raspberry PI 3 which performs better than this box!
What is the best way (related to the performance) to run Kodi on the M8S Pro L? I don't need Android or something.
I want to run Kodi with 4K support.

My hardware:
M8S Pro L
Standard Firmware (incl. TV Center)
External (powered!) 4 TB harddrive

If I play a movie in 1080P, the movie stutters. But very very fast. But you see that something's going wrong.
If I play a 4K movie, it seems to be ok.

On my Raspberry with the same HD, everything runs perfect!

What can I do to bring the Mecool back in the game?

Access Win 10 from ES File Explorer

I'm not certain that this is the correct forum for this question but I'll ask....

I have an android media server (X96) and have installed ES File Explorer so that I can access the media server from my PC in much the same way that I can access another computer on my network. (to move files back and forth)

I am able to access the media server using an FTP program (Filezilla) and I can see and manage all the files on the media server itself. However, I have an external HDD attached to the media server and can't see it from my Win 10 PC.

Does anyone know how I can make the external HDD visible to the Win 10 PC?

If I fire up a brand new installation of Opera, with no ad blocking extensions or with the inbuilt facility turned off,I get the new page pop-up telling me that the site has detected an ad blocking extension.

But if I load up something like Chrome, with more than one ad blocker installed, no restriction.

MECOOL M8S Pro L: 2 issues, keyboad and home screen.

My Mecool M8SPro L is on the latest firmware from OTA. I need help for 2 issues.

1. How can I put the app icons to the home screen? When I install some apps, they won't show up on the app row on the home screen, instead thay show up in the app drawer. I have to click it in to find them.

2. I am using Logitech external USB keyboard. All letter works fine except the enter key, which displays "t" instead of the return key as normal. How do I fix this? I heard about remap thing, but no one explains how to do it.
