Hi all,

This maybe a question for experienced users that have a few different boxes...

I would like to know is there actually any noticeable difference between DDR3 and DDR4 boxes in practical user use? I know that DDR4 looks a lot better on paper but would a normal user notice the difference between the two?

Hello guys.
I have searched many hours the web to find out a solution for the problem but it is still not solved.
I have a p212 board (S905X) along with android 7.1 amlogic SDK.

My board does not wake from shutdown or suspend when I press power button on remote.

I see in uboot/board/amlogic/configs/gxl_p212_v1.h there is CONFIG_IR_REMOTE_POWER_UP_KEY_VAL1 (and some similar defines)
and I know the syntax. (first byte is inverse logic of key scancode, the second is key_scancode and last 2 bytes are factory codes.)

#define CONFIG_IR_REMOTE_POWER_UP_KEY_VAL1 0XE51AFB04 //amlogic tv ir --- power

But the wake up on IR still not working.

ALSO another weird problem : Repeat key function not works too! (When you hold right key it only moves one step!) I know back when we have Android 6.0 SDK, we used to configure remote via remote.conf. But as you know this does not work for Android 7 and we should handle keymap and other remote configs in kernel. (device tree)

But I wonder how to set repeat key functioality in device tree or elsewhere!

Hi guys, I need your help, I bought a mxq pro 1gb8gb tv box for digital signage in portrait mode, unfortunately I can’t rotate the screen even using set orientation app, I am using signageplayer to display content on the screen
can somebody help me solve it. i am new user with no coding android hability.

Hello Friends:

• Developer mode is enabled and so is USB debugging (enabled).
• The ADB drivers for Windows 10 -- ones that I could find anyway -- are installed. If you have the latest one for H96 Max please let me know.
• After disabling my Windows 10 firewall and antivirus (just in case), and with the H96 Max fully booted, plugging its USB port (the blue one) it into my Windows 10 PC and issuing adb devices starts the adb daemon but does not recognize the device.
• The next thing I tried, is copying what I believe is a TWRP image for H96 Max (from TWRPbuilder build) into the root directory of a SDcard as recovery.img, then powered it on with the reset button pressed in. This is supposed to boot that TWRP image, but it doesn't. It just keeps going round and round (H96 Max Banner, then power cycles; H96 Max Banner, then power cycles; etc).

I'm at my wits end. This should be easy. Does anyone have distraction-free definitive instructions (and nothing else to distract from it) on:

1. Where to download the latest Windows 10 adb drivers for H96 Max
2. Where to download the latest available TWRP for H96 max (or a known working one)
3. Working instructions -- bulletproof instructions -- for how to access the adb device on the Windows PC CLI for H96 Max and then install TWRP.
   1. I know the commands, but I simply cannot get the device to probe / list.
4. Alternatively, how to do it via recovery.img in the root directory of a SDcard.

I have not seen anything this clear and definitive. Just fragments that don't work. This should be so easy. It's not cutting edge stuff.
Is it the driver? If possible, point me to one that you tried and absolutely works; as well as a TWRP image.

I tried everything I know.

Hi,

I buying several x96 Android box,
but not all support APK belong to my client,

after tracing the issue, i found that's the firmware version for the unsupported device different with the supported device
unfortunately, the supported device using older firmware than the others.

the supported device using firmware version from 2016
and the unsupported device using firmware version from 2018

So, Could i downgrade firmware version from 2018 to 2016 ?
coz already try the firmware from the link below

I had some issues with new player.When I play youtube videos in 720 or 1080p resolution,display gets green flickering and it is impossible to watch.Problem is in youtube app,but there is no problem when I watch videos in youtube kodi addon or in youtube apk for android tv,but that apps cant play next song automaticly.

Dear folks, I grabbed an micros SD which I formatted to FAT32 since it won't be accepted as exFAT.

I experienced CRC errors during copying so I wonder wether it was possible to insert SD into box and then connect box in MTP mode to pc?

Hi guys.I have a small problem with my EstgoSZ Android 7.1 3GB 64GB. With Facebook app I can t scroll down. Absurd! I don t understand if the Facebook app has problems.Hw can i fix it? THX in advance
