My android box has root access, however, I wish to temporarily suspend the root, to install another broadcaster app. It detects the root, and will not install.
I have tried ota rootkeeper, but it will not give me the option to suspend.
It is a K1 Plus DVB-T S2 Amlogic S905 Quad core 64-bit Cortex A53 with Android 5.1

Hello!

My Vorke Z6 Plus show only a black screen so I wonder how I can flash the rom? Where can I get the PC drivers to get connected to windows 10?
And is there any other trix to get it start?

I am trying to modify my boot.img splash screen when my device boots up. I would also like to enable audio with the bootanimation.

I currently have my bootanimation working, but without audio. The splash screen I have been unable to get changed...

I read a thread that said "On Rockchip devices, audio hardware is not initialized early in boot like other devices." If this is true, how can I initialize it? I can provide any files needed.

Has anyone solved the freezing Problem? I tried with some more heatsinks down to 43 degrees celsius but the freezing Problem is still there!

Anyone getting this problem, a significant increase in temperature just by running Chrome or another browsers? It goes from 52ºC to 75-83ºC just by having it running a tab. Netflix home screen and Netflix playback ranges from 62-65ºC (as expected).

Hi All,

Can someone help me out, why is my tv stick running only on 32-bit mode. Also, I see the armeabi-v7a supported only and there is no armeabi-v8a. Does running only on 32-bit mode affects performance and how do I make it also support 64-bit.
I am also facing shuttering and laggyness while playing videos via mircast and when playing movies on chrome browser on any site.

Since yesterday my box stuck at mecool logo and so I use bootcardmaker .

After a seems successful flash it reboot but still stuck at boot logo.

​​​​​So I try to flash again with bootcardmaker but when load bootcardmaker it come out android logo with an X instead of flashing.

Anyone can explain to me how can i fix this problem so that it flash again. I tried making new sd card with difference fw with bootcardmaker and all same, android logo with an X

It's running a unstable version of 7.1.2 for example background crashes with Microsoft launcher. (One of only 3 launchers I could get to work) I can not use my favorite launcher Nova as it just closes right away. Does anyone know if the bootloader is unlocked and if I can put first twrp on it then a custom rom? So many apps say incompatible and when sideloaded just crash. It has 2gb/16gb has 912 and Mali-T820MP3(GPU).
