MXQ S85 ( Red Stripe ) Amlogic S805 Emulators

Hi there.
I've been boot latest LibreELEC from MicroSD with this Android Tv Box :

MXQ S85 Android 4.4.2 TV Box Amlogic S805 Quad Core WiFi 1GB RAM 8GB ROM

Motherboard Netxeon S85 V2.0

So , I'm gonna use it as Emulator ( Playstation , Sega MD & Fba ).

How can I install just theese Emulator and how can configure them?

Can I use Xbox 360 Controller with its USB cable?

MECOOL M8S pro+ NETFLIX - DRM info problem

Good evening,

I’ve got the mecool M8S pro+ 2gb Ram και android 7.1.1

Kernel Version:
3.14.29 Tue Oct 31 09:21:42 CST 2017

Build:
M8S PRO+-userdebug 7.1.1 NHG47L
20171031.0901923.V0619


I’ve had the box for 4 days and everything was fine on the following until tonight

Netflix HD

YouTube 4K

Stbpro

Home Network stream με VLC

At some point, on NETFLIX the sound didn’t sync with the mouths, so I restarted the NETFLIX but still the same. I checked on youtube if my internet connection was the problem but on youtube everything was OK. I tried the NETFLIX once again but nothing different happened. After that, I exited the app and rebooted the box.

After the rebooting, I tried to open NETFLIX and the following message popped up on the screen: Netflix isn't responding.

Also, I ran DRM info and the same message popped up: DRM info isn't responding

After all those , I did the following:

Factory reset

OTA newer firmware update

OTA your nexus tv firmware

OTA fixed back to stock firmware

But nothing changed.

I have no idea what else to do.

My eMMC is not a faulty one.

Something odd I noticed is that every time I reboot the box, I have a different mac address. The mac address that is printed on the box is actually the serial number of the box without the colons.

Apart from the above mentioned , the rest apps work fine.

RK3188 TV Box connection to PC

I have my android TV box RK 3188 connected to my TV and to my PC. In settings of the TV box I check the USB section to connect to pc and the box shows up on my PC. If I unplug the USB cable and plug it back in my PC does not see the box. While plugged in to the PC I uncheck the USB connect to PC and then check it on again my PC will see the box again. Why is this happening?

Android P Developer Preview Released with Indoor Positioning, Display Notch Support, HDR VP9 Video, and More

Google has just announced the release of the first developer preview for Android P mobile operating system, as the company is looking for feedback from developers who can use the official Android emulator, as well as images for Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2XL devices for testing

Google will take into account comments from developers before finalizing the APIs and features. That won’t be the only preview however, as the company plans to release other developer previews planned before the stable release at the end of the year, and Google aims to reveal more at Google I/O 2018 next week.

Some of the interesting changes and new features found in Android P so far:
  • Indoor positioning with Wi-Fi RTT (Round Trip Time) also known as 802.11mc WiFi protocol
  • Display cutout support for some of the new phones with a notch
  • Improved messaging notifications, for example highlighting who is messaging and how you can reply. The conversations, photos and stickers can now be displayed in notifications.
  • Multi-camera API – Support for simultaneous access of two or more cameras, meaning features like seamless zoom, bokeh, and stereo vision are now supported natively
  • HDR VP9 Video, HEIF image compression, and Media APIs
  • Neural Networks API 1.1 adding support for nine new ops — Pad, BatchToSpaceND, SpaceToBatchND, Transpose, Strided Slice, Mean, Div, Sub, and Squeeze. Qualcomm Hexagon HVX is now also supported (in Pixel 2)
  • Security and privacy improvements – More consistent UI for fingerprint authentication, defaults for Network Security Configuration to block all cleartext (unencrypted HTTP) traffic, access restriction to mic, camera, and all SensorManager sensors from apps that are idle.
  • ART performance – reductions up to 11% of DEX file leading to faster load times.

To get started, download the P Developer Preview SDK and tools into Android Studio 3.1 or Android Studio 3.2 canary version. Pixel devices owners can manually install the preview images following the instructions here.

Hello.

Today the Beelink GT1 Ultimate has came to me,
I connected the device to the power and then connected the HDMI and only the led on the device turns on white,
and the screen does not turn on,
I tried to run through the remote control and not working,
What am I doing?

After lots of searching round on the net I have eventually found this forum that may just be able to help my quest of finding a suitable firmware for this android TV box. The current/stock firmware seems very flakey and requires lots of soft resets to keep it working.

I have searched around and found nothing !

Hello guys,

i just habe an H96 Pro Plus with 2GB/16GB the box just fine but the standard launcher is little bit buggy. Memory Cleaner is not working, Youtube only with 1.xx.xx, Status bar is not hiden if im looking youtube clips, launcher is ugly, things like that. So im searching an new Rom i think i have DDR3 because i have the 2gb version and android 6.0.1. What is the best solution to update my box on android 7 or an custom rom and which is compatible.

Intel Hades Canon NUC Core i7 And Radeon RX Vega M Benchmarks Leak, 1080p Ultra Playable

Intel first announced its Hades Canon NUC back at CES, and it packs quite a lot of power into a pint-sized package. While Intel NUCs don't generally get as much attention as they deserve, Hades Canyon is partially special given that it is powered by Intel's latest 8th generation Kaby Lake-G processors with on-package Radeon RX Vega M GPUs.

Korean hardware site Playwares has posted the first benchmarks of Hades Canyon, which in this case is powered by a Core i7-8809G processor. This particular chip comes integrated with the most powerful version of AMD's Radeon RX Vega M, the "GH" SKU. With that in mind, take a look at the benchmarks below to get a feel for what kind of gaming performance to expect.



Taken at face value, these numbers are looking quite good for those seeking a small, integrated PC gaming solution. The Core i7-8809G is packing a lot more GPU muscle than AMD's Ryzen 5 2400G "Raven Ridge” APUs -- as you would expect given its more premium pricing -- and that shows with the benchmark numbers. Benchmarks were performed at both default clocks and when overclocked.


HadesCanyonNUC benches

Things are looking especially good for the Core i7-8809G in the Rise of the Tomb Raider and The Division benchmarks at 1080p/Ultra presets. Overall, performance is about where we expected to see, and falls in line with the guidance that Intel provided. That means performance that should slot in between an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and the GeForce GTX 1060.

All of this sounds good, but we really need to see pricing to determine how viable a solution Hades Canyon will be for enthusiasts and gamers. Given that cryptocurrency miners have pretty much raided supplies of current generation GPUs from the low-end to the high-end, it will be interesting to see how Intel prices Hades Canyon (and Kaby Lake-G in general). With a relatively potent GPU under the hood, it could be an attractive proposition for gamers and crypto-miners alike, that otherwise might not be able to secure a GPU to further their mining obsessions, if the price is right.
