NEW - ROM for CX-919 CM12.1 (Lollipop 5.1.1)

All credits go to Oma7144 at CrewRKtablets for the original rom. (RK3188 Development)

It took me some time to find a usable kernel for our CX-919 and it still will need some work.


There are some bugs such as :

Screen is upside down : Could be resolved by removing ro.sf.hwrotation=180 in build prop ?
Wifi does not enable, results in bootloop : Could be resolved by adding ap6210 wifi module ?
...


I hope someone picks this project up as I dont have much spare time to work on this but I will continue development. Have to setup my linux enviroment first.


This rom should boot on any jellybean kernel. DO NOT USE KITKAT KERNELS

It also needs first generation bootloader so follow instructions precisely.


Instructions (be aware: it is your own risk!) :


Connect the usb port of your device to your PC via USB cable

1) installation of the usb-driver (skip if you have the driver installed already)

2) change the loader
a) run RKDevelopTool.exe
b) press button with the 3 points: load the loader (v1.24)
c) press button Erase ID Block
d) press button Erase All Blocks
e) press button Download
f) exit RKDevelopTool.exe

3) flash the firmware
a) run RKAndroidTool
b) hold reset button on your device while plugging in power
c) press button EraseIDB
d) press button Run and wait for it to finish flashing your device
c) the device will reboot in recovery, do factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache
d) reboot
