Nothing happens after using Burn Card Maker

I thought the process is supposed to be automatic? I'm pressing the reset button with a paper clip, Alfawise just boots into Android screen. Should I select install or update from EXT, I get "FAILED TO MOUNT/dev/block etc. error.

What am I doing wrong?

I have a bricked H96 Pro + and X96-mini because Superoot was installed. I have searched and wasted an entire day now.

I have pretty much given up. I have mental health issues and all these related but slightly different mega threads are terribly frustrating and stressful. Reading hours and thousands of posts is NOT the answer.

I wish there was some order to these threads. Anyway, I have bought a USB male to male cable because installing from mindSD card just gives me the Android OS black menu with Android man.

I have tried the many different .img files and used Burn Card Maker as well USB Burning Tool 2.1.6.

I have loaded all the .img files including aml_7.1.2_s912_q9377-S912_mac-20170908 into USB_Burning Tool. After it checks it, I receive the following error.: KEY FILE CONFIGURATE WRONG! I then downloaded a different version of Burning tool which had a license folder. I copied that as instructed. The above error is gone but a new one develops: [0x00101004]Erase bootloader/Lowper/Identify/Error result which is also the same error message I receive when I try to install the X96 mini image file.

It was suggested earlier on to another poster who had the same error to download mac_ether.ini but as with the majority of posts and comments in this forum, they lack crucial information like how to install and run this file.

Before I take a hammer and smash both of these Android boxes and dump them into the electronics recycle bin, I thought I would make one last ditch attempt to try to get these two boxes working with OEM firmware that became corrupted due to installing SUPERUSER.

Would it be possible to obtain actual meaningful assistance and help in this forum or am I SOL?

I am frustrated with new 7.1 fimrware for Minix Neo U9-H, and would like to go back to U9H-FW007.
Unfortunatly, minixforum is down, and Minix FTP is no more serving public requets.

Could some upload somewhere or send it to me.
I need the PC version.
It is shown as H9H_FW007A.rar and contain the file U9H_FW007A_20171020.img

T95Z Plus Firmware 2gb/16gb update

Hi all completely new to this and my searches have lead me to here. I have a T95Z Plus 2gb/16gb and the WiFi is very weak and much slower than my other android box. Someone mentioned I should update the firmware. The OTA Updater says there is one but it doesn’t work. The firmware it has ends in 0032. As a complete novice on this what firmware do I have to get and will it resolve the weak WiFi issue? Also how on earth do I put it onto the android box and which firmware do I need. I don’t know how to tell which box I have? Is there a step by step guide on what to do. Happy to try anything as I would like to learn and everyone has to start somewhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Xiaomi has just officially launched the new Xiaomi Mi Box S a model identical to the Xiaomi Mi Box 4 that we saw in detail a few months ago and that has minimal changes compared to the popular Xiaomi Mi Box International. As we saw this model is basically different from the previous model in its box design that now has a better thermal dissipation system and in the remote control that has a new distribution of buttons with shortcuts for Netflix and Youtube.

 SoC, RAM and storage

The new Xiaomi Mi Box S features an Amlogic processor from the S905 family, perhaps the same S905X-H SoC from its predecessor, a Quad Core with 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 CPU cores capable of reaching 1.5GHz and a Mali-450mp5 GPU. On the board we have 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 8 GB of eMMc storage memory that can be expanded from using a USB drive. A configuration with a fast SoC and enough RAM to move any multimedia file without problems and above all to execute the most popular streaming services. Other features

The Xiaomi Mi Box S includes at connectivity level has new a/b/g/n/ac Wifi adapter that also integrates Bluetooth 4.2 as a novelty. The included connectors are the same as in the previous version, a single USB 2.0 port, HDMI 2.0a 4K@60fps video output with HDR support and audio jack with integrated SPDIF output. As is logical we have all the DRM certificates needed for the most popular streaming services, we will have Netflix 4K available and also Amazon Prime Video 4K although we will have to load the APK manually, also has integrated Chromecast and DD and DTS audio certificates.

New Xiaomi Mi Box S is here with Android Oreo-based Android TV, Google Assistant, and 4K HDR support

While Google was busy announcing a bunch of products we already knew about, Xiaomi had an announcement of their own to make. Along with the Pixel 3, Pixel 3XL, Google Home Hub, and Pixel Slate, Xiaomi unveiled the Mi Box S Android TV. This is the set-top box we heard about last month.

As previously reported, the Xiaomi Mi Box S is actually the Mi Box 4, as the Xiaomi Mi Box 3 was launched as simply the “Mi Box” in the U.S. There is not a ton of differences between the Mi Box S and Mi Box. It has a familiar design and very similar specs: 2GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, and Amlogic S905X quad-core SoC. The box can play 4K HDR content at up to 60fps, and it also supports Dolby DTS for high-definition audio. Other specs include Bluetooth 4.2, one HDMI 2.0A port, one audio out port, and one USB 2.0 port.



One big difference is the included remote. The new remote has a Google Assistant button, Netflix shortcut button, and live TV button. The Mi Box S is also launching with Android 8.1 Oreo, while Android Oreo was just released to the Mi Box this summer. The Mi Box S will be available in the U.S. for just $59.99. Customers can pick one up from Walmart starting on October 19th and pre-orders should be opening up sometimes today.

I bought this device from you (geekbuying.com)and came with this software (q201- userdebug 7.1.2 NHG47L 20180606 test kernel version 3.14.29 server @ ubuntu # 4 Wed Jun 6). I accidentally uploaded it to the firmware (q201- userdebug 7.1.2 NHG47L 20180126 test kernel version 3.14.29 server @ ubuntu # 3 Fri Jan 26) which would mean that I downgraded it. Where can i download this newer version (20180606) which was in it I searched it all and can not find it anywhere. Always give me (20180126) as the latest firmware?

Hello all
this time I'm really really stuck.
I have this box:

The website shows that the unit it's running the S905w,but he actual chipset, under the heathsink, it's a S905X

The print on the PCB shows S905XQ4_V1.0 (Probably 4th quarter , since the date is 2017.11.23)

The units prior to the incorrect upgrade was running Android 7.x.x and on a P281 board

I tried several IMG using burning tools, but the flashing procedure, hangs at 7%

The unit will only go in recovery mode using an SD card with nhg47l/20180313

I'm not able to apply any update via EXT , either SD or USB.

I connected at TTL interface to the unit, so I'm able to use the internal software.

At this point I would like to simply restore the OS to anything more fancy than a black screen.

I need a file to reinstall the recovery mode and then the OS when the unit is booted from the SD CARD,

RGB colour space problem with old Sony and Philips.

Hi. I have an old Sony tv and have the well known problem with colour space....
​​​​​There is an option in DroidSettings, in Display section to change between RGB and YUV. Even if i change that, still get this pink/green screen every 2-3 minutes.
There is another option in Developer options to enable RGB. If i enable this, after a reboot it is back to disable again!
​Is there anything else i am missing?
